Wizkid is really proving his stand as the biggest act out of Africa at the moment.

The ‘Shabba’ singer who is now rubbing shoulders with top music heavyweights such as Drake, Chris Brown, Tyga and more is reported to have rejected collaborations offers from Rwanda’s top music acts Urban Boyz and Assinah.

Wizkid who, according to a Rwandan publication, The New Times, staged an epic performance at the Mutzig Beer Fest in Kigali last month, has been in demand so much, he is delicately choosing who to work with.

In fact, the publication gave instances when ‘desperate’ local acts, Urban Boyz and Assinah along with their managers at separate times, laid siege at the hotel Wizkid was lodged with the hopes of getting the singer to approve of a collaboration, all to no avail.

He was ultimately reported as not being
‘interested in any collaboration with local artistes.’

The Nigerian superstar will continue his foothold on the continent by gracing the
stage in Kampala, Uganda, in a show dubbed
‘Wizkid Live in Concert’ in December, and the
demands for his vocal assistance can only get
higher.
