Nigerian music sensation Ayodeji Balogun, globally known as Wizkid, took to social media on Thursday to honor the memory of his late mother, Morayo, on her first posthumous birthday.

Wizkid, known for his emotive lyrics and soulful tunes, shared a poignant message, revealing the deep void left by her passing.

In his heartfelt tribute, Wizkid wrote, “Happy birthday, love of my life! I miss you every day. The first one without you here feels unreal. Nothing makes sense without you, Mama! Life is empty without you. Continue to watch over us! My heart is broken forever! Love you, love you, love you, Morayo mi. Your smile is a memory I will never forget. Your laugh! Your hugs and kisses. I miss you dearly!”

Wizkid also reflected on the profound impact his mother had on his life and career, hinting at a special project in her honor.
