Wizkid, Olamide, Tiwa Savage & More Nominated For Best African Act at MOBO 2016 – FULL LIST

The nominations for the MOBO Awards 2016 have just been announced, which sees Wizkid, Olamide, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Tekno Miles, Moelogo, Eugy and Mista Silva get nominated for Best African Act.

This category will be reduced to five final nominees come October 17, 2016.

This year marks the 21st Anniversary of the MOBOs and it appears that there is a focus on the UK’s thriving Hip-Hop and Grime scenes with Kano and Skepta receiving nods in categories including ‘Best Male’, ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Grime Act’.

The awards ceremony will be held in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro on Friday November 4, 2016 and will be broadcast live on ITV2 and repeated in full on ITV.
