The artiste who has had a phenomenal year in 2016 has been relinquished of his ambassadorial badge with the company mutually with non hard feelings whatsoever which is contrary to the perception most Nigerians will be having about the ended contract.

This ended contract is coming on the back of the triple wins the artiste had at this year’s MAMAs, according to TheNet who had a chat with Wizkid’s Manager, Sunday Are redressed the rumour of having his artiste dropped because of monetary issues. He said,
‘No there’s nothing like that, they still remain a big family, I wish you know how cool the relationship between them is. There’s no issue at all’.
Asked if Wizkid got a better offer from a competing brand, he said, ‘no, no, no there’s nothing like that. Wizkid has a good relationship with GLO’.
He was later asked to know what led to them going their separate ways, ‘the reason is best known to the company and the artiste. It’s not a big deal at all and I’m sure you know how the country is, there’s recession everywhere but trust me it’s not an issue‘ he said.
