A few days ago, a snapshot of the 16-year-old daughter of President Barack Obama wearing a Pro Era t-shirt surfaced on the web and was highlighted by The Masked Gorilla’s Instagram account. Of course, the photo quickly went viral, since the Brooklyn rap collective reposted it in promotion of its merch. According to a rep of PE, the photo was from “a mutual friend of Malia and the pro era member,” but White House officials aren’t so sure. Fox News reports that government officials are looking into the photo’s origins.
