Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has inaugurated the Emohua/Kalabari Tema Junction Road, a project his administration has completed without much fanfare.

The total budget for the project is N21.2 billion, with the previous administration committing N6 billion and the current administration completing the balance of N15.2 billion. The governor emphasized that 70% of the work was done by his administration, and therefore, he can confidently say that the project was delivered by his administration.

Governor Fubara stated that his administration has achieved a lot silently without seeking to draw attention to itself. He assured the people of Rivers that the government would continue to carry out its functions without entertaining sycophants. He also announced that he has directed the permanent secretary in the ministry of works to immediately commence the process of extending the road project from Tema Junction to Abonnema.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by former governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, as a special guest of honor, as well as other political leaders in the state and traditional rulers. The announcement of the extension of the road project from Tema Junction to Abonnema was met with a rousing joyful noise from the crowd.
