Parents of abducted Chibok school girls have disclosed that they will be happy to be reunited with their abducted children even if they will come back with ten children.

The position of the parents came on the heels of the return of one of the abducted Chibok school girls alongside a child she bore for a Boko Haram member.

Speaking in Mbalala, Chibok local government area, father of abducted Saratu Dauda, Dauda Yama called on the Federal Government to redouble efforts in rescuing the other abducted girls noting that the arrival of Amina Ali Nkeki has inspired in them a renewed hope that their daughters are still alive.

When asked what his reaction will be if his abducted daughter turned out with a child like Amina Ali, he responded that even if his daughter turned out with ten children, he will all accept them in good faith.

“I don’t care if my daughter come to us with 10 children, as children are a gift from God. But my primary desire is to get reunited with my daughter,” he said.

He noted that since his daughter was abducted by Boko Haram insurgents, life has never been the same for his family as they were forced to live in shock and trauma since then.

In a similar vein, the mother of Saratu Dauda, Hannatu Dauda called on Mr President to redouble effort in rescuing their abducted daughter saying that since one of them has been rescued all of them could be rescued.

When asked whether she will allow her daughter to go back to school if she per adventure she was freed, Hannatu Dauda said “I will support my daughter to attain the highest level of education.”

“As a person, lack of education has afflicted my life in a negative way as it has stymied my development and progress in life and for that reason I will support my children to attain the highest level of education,” she said.

Similarly speaking, the father of Palmata Musa, Musa Nkeki whose daughter was among the over 200 girls abducted expressed his elation with the coming home of Amina Ali noting that with her rescue, “we are hopeful that our daughters will soon be at home.”
