Yes, the WAEC result for 2024 has been released. Students who participated in the 2024 WASSCE can now access their results online or via SMS. The official announcement made by WAEC confirmed that the results are available starting Monday, August 12, 2024.

How to Check WAEC Results 2024 Online

For students eager to check their results online, follow these steps:

  • Visit the WAEC Official Results Checker Website: Go to www.waecdirect.org.
  • Enter Your WAEC Examination Number: This is a 10-digit number unique to each candidate.
  • Enter the Year of Examination: For this year, you will input 2024.
  • Select the Type of Examination: Choose “WASSCE for School Candidates.”
  • Enter Your e-PIN Voucher Number: This number is provided on the scratch card or e-PIN voucher you purchased.
  • Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN): This PIN is also found on your e-PIN voucher.
  • Click Submit: After filling in all the required details, click the submit button and wait for your results to appear.

Checking WAEC Result 2024 via SMS

For students who prefer to check their results via SMS, follow these simple steps:

  1. Type the SMS in the following format: WAEC*ExaminationNumber*PIN*ExamYear. Ensure there are no spaces between the elements.
  2. Send the SMS to 32327.
  3. Receive Your Results via SMS: You should receive a message containing your WAEC statement of results almost instantly.

Note: This SMS service is only available to subscribers of MTN, Glo, and Airtel networks in Nigeria. Additionally, standard SMS charges will apply when using this method to check your results.

What to Do if You Do Not Receive Your Result via SMS

If you do not receive your results after following the SMS method, you can try the process again. Ensure that all the details you entered are correct, and try resending the SMS. If the issue persists, you may want to consider checking your results online through the WAEC results checker website.
