Manchester City was the victorious side after a dominant display in the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League tie at the Etihad Stadium.

Okay.ng reports that first-leg of the keenly contested game at the Santiago Bernabéu ended in a 1-1 draw.

Vinicius Jr. had scored the first goal in the 36th minute before Kevin De Bruyne’s long range effort cancelled the opener in the 67th minute.

The Citizens played with body and spirit in the opening half of the second-leg tie on Wednesday night.

Bernardo Silva netted in at the 23rd minute of the game after clinching an early advantage.

Real Madrid was blunt in posing threatening attacks. They paid the price when Bernardo Silva scored again in the 37th minute.

In the second half of the game, Éder Militão got unlucky after scoring an own goal off Manuel Akanji’s header in the 76th minute.

Julian Alvarez who came in as a substitute finished off the game by adding the fourth goal of the game in the 90th minute.

Manchester City will now face Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, on the 10th day of June, 2023.

This will be the first time since 2010 Inter Milan will qualify for a UEFA Champions League final, having previously clinched the title three times: two back-to-back in 1964 and 1965 and then another in 2010, under Jose Mourinho.
