Explosions have hit Kuje and Nyanya areas of Abuja with scores of people reportedly killed. A police station was reported as one of the sites of the attacks.

It is uncertain why the tweeter user posted the tweets but the tweet seemed like the tweet of an agitator for sovereignty of Biafra.

Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, had on Tuesday, given reasons why the United Nations should allow Biafra to be separated from Nigeria.

“Nigeria cannot make any appreciable economic progress until Biafra is allowed to go, particularly now that Lord Fredrick Luggard’s amalgamation of 1914 has since January 1, 2014, expired after 100 years of the amalgamation,” Uwazuruike told UN.

For all we know, the tweets might be just be idle ones, but security agencies will be wise not to take them with a pinch of salt.
