Tola Odeyemi Promises to Transform NIPOST into Global E-Commerce and Logistics Hub

Tola Odeyemi, the newly appointed Postmaster General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), has articulated her commitment to elevating the service into a world-class e-commerce and logistics hub.

Assuming her position on Monday, Odeyemi spoke to the management staff of NIPOST, affirming her dedication to building on the achievements of her predecessors while propelling the postal service to greater heights both nationally and internationally.

In outlining her vision for NIPOST, Odeyemi stressed the importance of continuity, maintaining focus on core values, and harnessing the potential for growth and adaptation to change.

She emphasized the legacy forged by the hard work and vision of those who preceded her and pledged to solidify NIPOST’s status as a leading Postal Operator, further positioning it as a global player in the e-commerce and logistics sphere.

“The essence of every administration lies in the ability to ensure continuity while staying focused on its core values and mandate while striving to maximize its potential and adapting to change. NIPOST has a legacy that was forged by hard work and the vision of those before me, and posterity will indeed be kind to them. I came to build on the commendable work of my predecessors, my aspirations are not only to solidify NIPOST’s status as a leading Postal Operator. As I assume this role, I also want to make NIPOST a world-class e-commerce and logistics hub,” the PMG stated.

Encouraging the collaboration of the staff, she called on them to join her in providing postal services that cater to the needs of Nigerians across all regions.

Expressing gratitude to President Bola Tinubu (GCFR), Odeyemi expressed her commitment to guiding NIPOST into a new era of innovation, modernization, and transformation, aligned with the president’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.
