President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent abductions of vulnerable victims, including internally displaced persons in Borno State and students in Kaduna State.

Expressing his outrage on his official X page, President Tinubu directed security and intelligence agencies to take immediate action to rescue the victims and ensure that justice is served against the perpetrators.

In the statement, President Tinubu expressed confidence in the capabilities of security and intelligence agencies to swiftly rescue the victims involved in the abductions in Borno and Kaduna states.

He emphasized that nothing less than the rescue of the victims is acceptable to him and the waiting family members.

The President stated, “I have received briefings from security chiefs on the two incidents in Borno and Kaduna, and I am confident that the victims will be rescued. Nothing else is acceptable to me and the waiting family members of these abducted citizens. Justice will be decisively administered.”

President Tinubu further assured the families of the victims that they would soon be reunited with their loved ones. He expressed his sympathy for the families affected by the abductions and reiterated his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens.

“To this end, I have directed security and intelligence agencies to immediately rescue the victims and ensure that justice is served against the perpetrators of these abominable acts. I sympathize with the families of the victims and assure them that they would soon be reunited with their loved ones,” the President affirmed.
