Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi (retd), a former Chief of Defence Staff, has passed away at the age of 75. He died on Sunday in Abuja.

President Bola Tinubu and Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, have extended their condolences to the family of the late Admiral Ogohi.

In a statement, President Tinubu praised the deceased’s services to the nation, saying they would always be remembered. He prayed for the repose of his soul and comfort to his family.

Governor Ododo described the late Ogohi as an illustrious son of Kogi and one of Nigeria’s finest military officers who contributed immensely to keeping Nigeria united. He praised his sacrifices and impact, noting that Kogi has lost a frontline statesman.
