President Bola Tinubu has expressed heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, and fans of Saratu Gidado, a revered actress in the Kannywood film industry, following her demise on Tuesday morning in Kano.

Saratu Gidado, aged 56, was not only a luminary in the entertainment sphere but also a beacon of humanitarian endeavors, as emphasized by President Tinubu.

In his statement, the President lamented the profound loss felt by both her immediate circle and the nation at large. He underscored her significant contributions to the cultural landscape of Nigeria through her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.

Ajuri Ngelale, the Presidential Spokesman, relayed Tinubu’s sentiments, quoting him as saying, “Beyond the vacuum her demise has created in the flourishing entertainment industry, Ms. Gidado’s humanitarian pursuits will also be sorely missed.”
