Tinubu Lauds Military Exploit in North-West, Pledges Support

President Bola Tinubu has expressed relief and commendation for the Nigerian military’s successful operations against security threats in the northwest.

The military recently killed a wanted bandit leader, Halilu Sububu, and another terrorist, Sani Burki, and freed 13 kidnapped students in Kaduna.

The President lauded the military high command, intelligence agencies, and troops for their efforts and synergy, and encouraged them to sustain their efforts until all threats are removed.

The President emphasized in a statement titled,‘President Tinubu commends military on successful operations in North-West, pledges sustained support.’

The statement was duly signed on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga: “The success of the operations gives further assurance that our security operatives are up to the task of ensuring the peace and security of the nation,” The President stated.

He also reassured the security agencies of his continued support in achieving the objective of keeping the nation safe and secure. This comes after the President’s directive to the service chiefs to relocate to the zone until normalcy returns.
