Spotify’s New Music Friday (NMF) Naija playlist is set for an exciting refresh, featuring Nigeria’s hottest rising stars and offering music lovers a taste of fresh sounds.

This specially curated selection is designed to spotlight emerging artists in the vibrant Nigerian music scene.

On Friday, June 14th, the NMF Naija cover will feature five of Nigeria’s most exciting emerging artists: SOLIS4EVR, Taves, Llona, Shine TTW, and Kaestyle.

This initiative aims to introduce music fans to the country’s next big talents and elevate these artists to a global platform.

Typically, NMF Naija features established artists, but this week’s shift reflects Spotify’s commitment to championing emerging voices.

By showcasing these rising stars, Spotify is providing them with a global stage to connect and export their unique sounds to an international audience.

On the R&B and alternative side, artists like Taves and SOLIS4EVR bring soulful vocals and fresh perspectives. Afropop remains the dominant force, with Kaestyle infusing multiple influences with an Afrobeat twist, while Shine TTW carves a unique space with Afro-Santio. Llona embodies the genre’s versatility, seamlessly blending Afrobeats, R&B, and Dancehall influences. Together, this diverse group promises to be a driving force in the dynamic evolution of Nigerian music.
