This past weekend, Spotify and Gamr joined forces to celebrate Lagos’s dynamic gaming and music culture, hosting an event at the cutting-edge Carven Arena in Landmark Center, Victoria Island.

The event drew the city’s most passionate gamers, media personalities, influencers, and music lovers, transforming the venue into a true gaming paradise.

With a vibrant lineup of console games, attendees immersed themselves in classics like Mortal Kombat as well as the latest releases, including EAFC 25, Gran Turismo, and NBA 2K25. The day launched with a set by DJ Ace, setting an energetic tone for what would be a historic gaming experience and all-day party. DJ Titanium and KennyGee continued to electrify the crowd with a curated soundtrack that resonated with both gamers and music enthusiasts.

Adding to the excitement, Qing Madi, a Spotify EQUAL Africa artist, delivered a standout performance that blended soulful melodies with the gaming atmosphere. Rising star Ayo Maff closed the evening with an unforgettable performance, captivating the crowd as they sang along, seamlessly merging the worlds of music and gaming into an unforgettable celebration.

Hosts Big Bimi and Olori Oyin kept the energy high with their charismatic presence, while popular gaming personalities like StephKaly, Khalamanja, and Naomi mingled with fans, sharing their love for gaming through friendly matches.
