A suicide attack at a wedding venue in Tashan Mararaba, Gwoza town, Borno State, on Saturday, left at least six people dead and 15 others injured.

According to eyewitnesses and security sources, a young female bomber, estimated to be in her early twenties, detonated her explosive device in the midst of the gathering, causing chaos and destruction.

The victims, all civilians, were reportedly returning from a wedding celebration when the attack occurred near a busy motor park. Emergency services rushed to the scene to rescue the injured and transport them to hospitals in Gwoza.
