Senate President Bukola Saraki has confirmed receipt of a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari informing the Senate of his resumption after travelling to the United Kingdom (UK) for a medical vacation.
President Buhari officially resumed office on Monday as the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Force and transmitted a letter to the National Assembly informing them of his return to the country.
Saraki, who was said to be in the UK as of Monday, made the confirmation on his Facebook wall.
His post read, “I have received a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari informing the Senate that he has returned to the country. I have also acknowledged the letter.”
