The Executive Governor of Lagos State, his Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated the Governor-elect of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Sanwo-Olu made the congratulatory remarks on Monday through his verified facebook page.

He said: “Congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo on his well-deserved victory in the Edo State gubernatorial election. This win is not just a testament to his dedication and hard work, but also a reflection of the trust the people of Edo State have in the APC as their party of choice.”

“To the Governor-elect, I encourage you to embrace the opportunity to serve all citizens of Edo State, no matter their political affiliations. This victory is a call for unity, and I believe you have the vision and capability to deliver the fresh start that the people are yearning for. The hopes and dreams of your constituents are now in your hands, and I am confident you will rise to meet their expectations.”

Sanwo-Olu also utilizes the opportunity to appreciate President Bola Tinubu for a fair electoral process and also commending INEC for being impartial.

“I would also like to take a moment to appreciate President Bola Tinubu for his commitment to a fair electoral process, as well as commend INEC for their role as an unbiased umpire.

“To all APC leaders and members, your tireless efforts and dedication have truly paid off in this victory. Together, let’s continue to strive for a brighter future for all.” He stated.
