For the second time in two days, protesters yesterday staged a protest at national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) demanding for a shift in the elections by two months.

The elections are scheduled as follows: February 14 Presidential and National Assembly election and the February 28 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly election.

The protesters, who came under the aegis of the Coalition of Civil Societies, allege marginalisation of the Southern part of the country in the distribution of the Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
