Private Jet Carrying Minister of Power Crash-Lands at Ibadan Airport

A private jet operated by Flint Aero crash-landed on Friday night at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

The aircraft, identified as an HS25, was carrying the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, along with several of his aides.

The ill-fated journey began at Abuja Airport, with the aircraft’s departure scheduled for Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.

According to reports, the flight took off at approximately 6:41 pm, but it encountered severe trouble during its landing attempt at Ibadan Airport around 7:21 pm.

Eyewitnesses at the scene revealed that the pilot had been granted clearance to land before the incident occurred.

In a swift response to the emergency, all passengers and crew members on board were safely evacuated from the damaged aircraft.

While the immediate cause of the crash-landing remains under investigation, it has been confirmed that the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
