President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Kaduna State on Thursday (today) to officially inaugurate a series of significant developmental projects initiated under Governor Uba Sani’s administration. This visit coincides with the celebration of Governor Sani’s two-year milestone in office.

Among the flagship projects slated for commissioning is the newly constructed 300-bed Specialist Hospital located in Millennium City, Kaduna. This facility, built by the state government, aims to enhance healthcare delivery across the region.

In addition, the President will unveil the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development in Rigachikun, alongside several critical road infrastructure projects. These include road upgrades in Soba and Samaru Kataf Local Government Areas, the 24-kilometre Kafanchan Township Road, Tudun Biri Road, and the 22-kilometre road connecting Kauru and Kubau LGAs. The Vocational and Skills Training Centre in Tudun Biri is also on the list.

A major highlight of the visit will be the unveiling of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses, part of Kaduna’s efforts to modernize public transportation and promote cleaner energy use.

Governor Sani’s administration has focused on infrastructure development, healthcare improvement, youth empowerment, and economic growth since assuming office in 2023. The state government regards the President’s visit as a pivotal opportunity to showcase these transformative initiatives.

Originally planned for Wednesday, the President’s trip was postponed to Thursday due to his visit to Benue State, where he met with victims of recent violent attacks and engaged local leaders to promote peace and stability.
