Nollywood actress and special adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearing, Eniola Badmus, has expressed her heartfelt desire to have children of her own.

Speaking at the 7th edition of her ‘Feed the Needy’ initiative held at Temidire Primary School, Shogunle, Oshodi, Lagos, on January 2, 2025, Eniola made an emotional appeal to attendees for prayers as she waits on God for the blessing of motherhood.

“Please continue to pray for me, always mention me, Eniola Badmus, in your prayers,” she said in a video recorded during the event.

“I’m waiting upon the Lord for kids, I’m waiting upon the Lord for children, please pray for me and more opportunities so that I can serve you better. With your prayers and God by my side, I will continue to work together with you people and achieve a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow for many of our people. Thank you today, thank you always, and thank you forever.”

The event, which was aimed at feeding and supporting underprivileged individuals, saw Eniola surrounded by a supportive audience moved by her sincerity and openness.

Amid the emotional moment, Eniola also took a moment to honor her late father, Alhaji Badmus, who passed away seven years ago.

“Before I drop the mic, I would like to have a one-minute prayer for my father who left seven years ago,” she said, requesting attendees to join her in remembering him.

The ‘Feed the Needy’ initiative, spearheaded by Eniola, has been a significant platform for giving back to communities, with this year’s edition marking another milestone in her dedication to social service.
