Power Generation Drops to 2,841MW

Power generation has dropped to 2,841MW.

This was as at midday on Thursday.

This is based on data from the Nigerian Systems Operations Department of the Transmission Company of Nigeria website at www.nsong.org.

The data put generation at 2,841.90MW as at 12:42pm on Thursday.

On February 2, 2016, the output reached a high of 5,074MW.

Out of the 2,841MW available on Thursday, 1,580.6MW were distributed to the 11 electricity Distribution Companies as follows: Ikeja: 426.29MW; Abuja: 326.82MW; Eko: 312.61MW; Benin: 255.77MW; Enugu: 255.77MW; Ibadan: 369.45MW; Jos: 156.30MW; Kano: 227.35MW; Kaduna: 227.35MW; Port Harcourt: 184.72MW; and Yola” 99.47MW.
