Post-UTME 2017: Sokoto State University Screening, Cut-off mark And Registration Details

This is to bring to the notice of all candidates who applied for admission into the Sokoto State University through UTME and chose the University as their most preferred Institution (i.e. first choice) with a minimum score of 140, that the screening exercise for admission into the University for 2017/2018 session has been scheduled as follows:

Date: Saturday, 23rd September, 2017
Time: 9:00 am prompt
Venue: University Main Campus, Along BirninKebbi Road, Sokoto.

Eligibility
Only candidates who chose the University as their first choice, scored 140 points and above are eligible for the Screening. Similarly, the candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits at O’level (in not more than two sittings) including English, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects relevant to their course of study.

However,candidates awaiting O LEVEL results are required to present their examination slips.

Note: Candidates should report to Twin Lecture Theatre where they will be directed to examination centres.

All candidates must submit the following before they are allowed to sit for the examination:
-Photocopy of UTME result slip
-Photocopy of O’Level result (where available)
-Evidence of payment One recent passport size photograph.

Registration Procedure
Please follow the registration procedure as outlined below:
Step 1: Visit the University website at www.ssu.edu.ng
Step 2: Click on ‘2017/2018 Screening Exercise’
Step 3: Login to the portal using your UTME No. as Username and Password
Step 4: Upload your passport and fill in the particulars form
Step 5: Print your personalized Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) invoice, and use it to make payment at any commercial bank nationwide
Step 6: After making payment, return to the website: www.ssu.edu.ng , login again and print your examination card.
