Popular Ghanian Outspoken TV personality Afia Schwarzenegger has appealed to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to halt the upcoming 60th Independence Day celebration.

According to her, Ghana will be celebrating mediocrity as 60th year journey as a country has nothing to show – There are “no jobs for the youth; schools still under trees; power crises; etc. Hence Ghana should bow her head in shame instead of celebrating”.

“Dear Mr President, Ghana will be 60 a few days after my birthday and I will be turning 35 years this year. Looking at my 35 years accomplishments which I started with nothing and a 60 years healthy mother who had it all, but chose to squander”

“A mother who can’t boast of a stable relationship with electricity and water in this modern age?” she asked in her Instagram post.
