PHOTOS: Governor Okorocha Donates N1 Million And Cars To Victorious Paralympic Gold Medalists

The 2016 Olympics which held in Rio, Brazil had 3 Imolites emerge Gold Medallists in Paralympics. The Honourable Commissioner for Public Safety, Youth and Sports Hon. Rodney Ajaelu presented the 3 gold medallists to His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for recognition.

Through these medallists, world records were broken and Imo was made proud as Luke Ibe who is also known as ‘Miracle coach’ led them to victory. The paralympics gold medalists are Roland Ezurike, Nwosu Ndidi and Orji Josephine Precious who set an unbreakable world record

They sang a Happy Birthday song for the Governor and promised to continue to set the pace.

The Governor while addressing the sportsmen said, “The best thing that can happen in Nigeria will come from Imo state as you have made not only the state but the nation proud”

He gave them a brand new car and in addition, one million naira each. He also extended his kind gesture to the coaches.
