MRS filling station in Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos was razed by fire Thursday evening.
Forumspotz Media gathered that the fire, which broke out around 6pm, destroyed several properties within the area.
The real cause of the inferno remains unknown at the moment as fire servicemen have been able to put it out.
Confirming the incident via its twitter, the National Emergency Managment Agency said, “Fire outbreak as a tanker was trying to discharge it’s content at MRS filling station near OANDO at Lawanson, Lagos.”
