Wife of the president -Mrs. Aisha Mohammadu Buhari, today, presented relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), who are victims of suspected Fulani Mercenary attacks in Benue State, drawn from Agatu, Buruku, Apa, Logo and other affected areas across the state.

Presenting the materials, Mrs. Aisha Mohammadu Buhari, ably represented by Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, Wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, sympathized with the people of Benue State and promised to convey what she has seen in Benue to the President for further action.

Speaking on behalf of the IDPs, the Ochi Agatu stressed the fact that what the people in the affected areas want is nothing other than peace. Emphasizing further that the attackers are not the conventional Fulanis they are used to and therefore more military action is needed to forestall reoccurrence and sustainable peace.
