A picture surfaced online shows a new born baby with its legs joined together in a mermaid-like.
According to Starrfm Online, the baby was delivered at the Suntreso Government Hospital in the Ashanti region

The child with a rare defect has only one leg joining its torso from the waist down to his two feet – also conjoined at the heels to look like a caudal fin. The baby has no genitals.
Meanwhile, reports indicate it seems healthy at birth.
At the time of press no official comment from the hospital was released.
