Man destroys his home

A man let out his marital frustration by trashing his own home. The man of Georgia, said that he was so angry after a phone call with his wife that he drove his truck through their house. 35-year-old John Paul Jones, Jr. of Senoia, said that it was no mistake. WWN has more:

He intentionally drove his truck from the backyard of the home to the front yard, and he smashed through his living room, causing damage to the home. Jones, who is a carpenter, said that he was out of work for over a year, and he was frustrated because he had not been able to sell his home.

Jones said the incident was “just one of those spur of the moment crazy things.” Neighbors called police after hearing a commotion around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday.  Coweta County deputies spoke to Jones outside his house, where the truck was parked with furniture caught on the bumper.

“I told them I needed air conditioning,” Jones said jokingly. “They said, ‘open a window.’ I told them that was not enough. As you can see, I had a nice breeze,” he added. The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said that Jones will not face charges because he damaged his own property with his own truck, and no one was injured. He will also do all the repair work by himself.
