Nigerian musician Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has shared his thoughts on the recent divorce saga of PSG defender Achraf Hakimi.

Mr P has questioned why most men are rejoicing over the footballer’s story and advised that if a man cannot trust his wife, he should not marry her.

It was reported that Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk, demanded more than half of the PSG star’s belongings in the process of the divorce.

However, Abouk later discovered that Hakimi had put all his property, including his house, cars, jewelry, and so on, under his mother’s name.

Reacting to the news, Mr P took to Twitter to express his views. He wrote, “#JustMyOwnViewAndOpinion I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it🤷🏾‍♂️ The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her, then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to suffer after a divorce?🤷🏾‍♂️”

He further advised men to remember that their mothers were also someone’s wife before they became mothers.

He wrote, “The mother u are clamoring about was/is also somebody’s wife at some point, before she became his mother. What if she was treated the same way?📌Pls Marry your Mother! EOS.”

Mr P also suggested that men should imagine having a father-in-law who is like Hakimi and see how they would react.
