In the run-off to the 2015 Presidential election, desperate politicians eager to stamp their imprimatur on the political lexicon of the nation had exposed their syndrome to attain a high position of authority by hook or crook, knowing that they could only remain relevance, if they cling to such a coveted position.

Governors who were constitutionally barred from contesting for a third term in office had found solace in the senate for them to remain relevant with notable ones among the gladiators seeking in vain to cling to the presidency taking into cognizance the fact that the presidency is indisputably regarded as the most top echelon of wielding excessive influence and authority,

kwankwaso is one who out of such desperation sought in vain and crushing defeat lost the primary along with the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar , a gruelling titanic battle that stunningly led to the emergence of General Muhammadu Buhari as the All Progressives Congress(APC) flag bearer, a feat that rendered his sadistic political dynasty superfluous.

courtesy of his political adroitness, shenanigans and ability to lend credence to a crafty conspiracy theories, he used his influence as an incumbent governor to manipulate the political trend to his undue advantage, Kwankwaso shamelessly wrested the ticket for the Kano Central Senatorial District, which saw his victory against his arch rival from the Peoples Democratic Party.

He has undoubtedly lost his calculus as a great influence wielder attested to by the stunning humiliation he had suffered in Katsina, the time he woefully failed to test the political waters , forgetting the fact that he had appeared to have lost touch with reality.

Governor Ganduje as the governor and one calling the political shots in Kano has proven to Kwankwaso that the APC is now under his tutelage ,pulling strings at his will at every angle as proved by the way he along with his cohorts were prevented from gaining entry to the venue the APC (North West) was holding a stakeholders meeting in Katsina, considering the fact that he lacked the legitimacy to preside over any meeting since he is no longer an executive governor and will never be in future.

As a wounded lion left wallowing in the ropes of shame and unsuccessful political rigmarole the former governor now a Senator with no security vote or monthly grant to seduced his most gullible followers and die-hard proteges, he purposely convened the clandestine meeting of his vulnerable associates wearing the toga of Kwankwasiyya, to pave his way to the presidency, even before the term of the sitting president expired.

He had forgotten the, fact that the world is laughing at him having lost focus in his political calculation, jumping the gun to sabotage the incumbent president, at a time millions of Nigerians are beginning to build confidence on the man even the International Community considered as a messiah.

With his personality cult doing his bidding without benefitting a dime, Kwankwaso only found solace in instigating his foot soldiers wearing their rag-tag insignia to fight those he touted as an anathema to his gambit and that being in the ropes of despondency he had failed to think out of the box and see things beyond his nose in a jiffy.

One thing that stands obvious is the fact, that the time is politically up for the former governor whose penchant for leadership is insatiable,.

It would be appropriate for him to tread the path of honour and quit the political scene at the time the ovation is loudest as his conspiracy theory would lead to his apocalyptic end game.
