On Sunday, the ‘Abule Sowo’ crooner got major thumbs up for his music when US-based frontline radio station located in New York City, Power 105.1 FM, blessed the American airwaves with Olamide’s brand new single – Pepper Dem Gang, off his ‘Glory’ album.

The hot new jam was played by DJ Norie on Sunday during the Power 105.1 Big Up show.
The excited Olamide took to Instagram to share the great news with a video.

This event more than anything is an indication that the father of one’s music has gone mainstream even in the West and his fanbase/sphere of influence is extending beyond Africa.

We bet that everybody will want a piece of Olamide right now and though the rapper has often reiterated that he’ll never pay for an international collaboration since his mentor, Fela Anikulapo- Kuti never did, his undeniable hardwork and large doze of confidence will ensure he gets whats due him.

How does a Drake-Olamide joint album sound?
