Yaya Toure has claimed that Pep Guardiola has “problems with Africans” after his exit from Manchester City.

The 35-year-old revealed this on Tuesday, wondering whey he did not have enough game time under after the arrival of during his stint with the Etihad side.

“He insists he has no problems with black players, because he is too intelligent to be caught out,” Toure told France Football.

“But when you realise that he has problems with Africans, wherever he goes, I ask myself questions.

“I think I was dealing with someone who just wanted to take revenge on me, who was jealous of me, who took me for his rival. I felt humiliated.”

He alleged that, “He stole my farewells with City. I would have liked to leave this club with emotion, as Iniesta and Buffon were able to do. But Pep stopped me.”

While at Barcelona under Guardiola, Toure won the treble in the Spaniard’s first season as manager with the LaLiga giants.

He played 319 times over eight years with City, winning three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups.
