Paul Pogba spent the final days of his summer holiday partying in Las Vegas before preparing to travel to England to complete his world-record transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.

Having spent time in Miami and Los Angeles this summer, Pobga spent Saturday at the famous Wet Republic pool party at MGM Grand among thousands of other revellers, where superstar DJ Calvin Harris was the headline act.

Pogba was joined by his France and Juventus team-mate Patrice Evra, while his agent, Mino Raiola, worked on the finer details of his £100m transfer.

The pair were accompanied by friends and other partygoers at their luxury cabana – boasting its own private plunge pool – which costs upwards of $10,000 per day.

Pogba could offer no significant update on his pending move to Old Trafford, which sources close to the deal have told Sky Sports is nearing completion, and is expected to be finalised before the Premier League season begins.

Keeping his cards close to his chest, Pogba spoke to SSNHQ’s Andy Burton at the party, and when asked whether the deal was close to being concluded, he only said “we’ll see”.

However, sources at Old Trafford told Sky Sports late on Sunday night that the deal is now virtually agreed in principle between the two clubs, with personal terms also close to being confirmed between the player and Manchester United.

Yet the finer details of both aspects of the transfer – including payment of Raiola’s fee – are yet to be resolved, with negotiations set to continue this week.

Pogba was due to return to Miami after his weekend in Sin City, however it remains to be seen whether he then travels to Turin or flies straight to Manchester from the United States.
