French footballer Paul Pogba has officially concluded his 18-month doping suspension as of March 10, 2025, making him eligible to return to professional football.

The 31-year-old midfielder became a free agent following Juventus’ decision to terminate his contract in November 2024.

The suspension originated from Pogba testing positive for non-endogenous testosterone following a Serie A match against Udinese on August 20, 2023.

Initially facing a four-year ban, the penalty was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in October 2024, offering the player a pathway back to the sport sooner than expected.

Throughout his suspension, Pogba remained dedicated to maintaining his physical condition through individual training.

Reports indicate that the experienced midfielder is eager to relaunch his career and is particularly interested in continuing his journey in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

His desire to return to France has also been highlighted, with Olympique de Marseille emerging as a strong contender for his signature during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite being out of competitive action since September 2023, Pogba is determined to reclaim his form and work toward earning a place in the French national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

His perseverance highlights his intention to make a significant comeback at both club and international levels.

Pogba’s career has been decorated with major achievements, including four consecutive Serie A titles with Juventus and a crucial role in France’s 2018 World Cup triumph.

As he navigates this pivotal phase, football enthusiasts worldwide are closely monitoring his next move, anticipating his impact on the pitch upon his return.

With Pogba now a free agent, his availability offers an attractive prospect for clubs looking to enhance their midfield strength with his skill and experience.

His upcoming decision will undoubtedly shape the future of his career and potentially bolster the ambitions of the team fortunate enough to secure his services.
