Leke Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has shared his experience on how he made his first million naira. In an interview with the “School of Wealth,” Leke revealed that he made his first million selling rubber wristbands.

“I made my first million selling wristbands, rubber to be precise,” Leke said.

Leke further explained that financial freedom can be achieved by focusing on the little things. He said that everyone wants to hit it big, but they forget the essence of making little profits.

“Everybody else is always trying to hit the guy on the top, but they forget the little things, so you need to focus on the little things,” Leke stated.

To buttress his point, Leke used toothpicks as a reference point, citing that Nigerians use a lot of toothpicks, but most people do not consider who supplies the toothpicks.

Leke also claimed that selling promotional gift items like rubber wristbands with a small profit margin of #50 or #100 at big Christian events can add up and result in substantial earnings.

“Promotional gift items for those that are doing branding wristbands are just rubber. But if I sell enough of those rubbers with a very tiny margin profit of #50 or #100 at a big Christian event, it adds up,” he said.
