The Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom has bragged about its political supremacy in the state stating that even if a rerun of the Governorship election were carried out, its candidate, Emmanuel Udom will continue to win.

Acting spokesperson, Sunny Onuesoke, stated this, while reacting to the pronouncement of a re-run of the election by the tribunal.

He said: “PDP will win because it is on record that APC does not have structures in Akwa Ibom state.”

“Beside, past PDP governors and the present one have developed the states in all ramification that no normal Akwa-Ibom state indigenes will cast their votes for another party beside PDP”.

“Elections were held in the north, west and southern parts and no one is challenging election in other part of Nigeria like is being done in oil producing states.”

“Are you telling us that all the state in the western part that APC won are free and fair?. What about the northern part? Are you telling me that they are clean as it is?”
