NiMet cautioned that strong winds may precede thunderstorms and urged the public to secure loose objects, avoid driving in heavy rain, disconnect electrical appliances, and stay away from tall trees to prevent accidents from falling branches. The agency also advised airline operators to obtain airport-specific weather reports for operational planning and encouraged residents to stay updated via NiMet’s website.
