A Nigerian woman identified as Queen has opened up about her life as a hermaphrodite, revealing that she has both male and female reproductive organs that are functional.

Queen shared her unique experience, in a candid interview on Doyin’s Corner, explaining how she discovered her condition at the age of 15 and the challenges she has faced since then.

Queen, a Lagos-based woman, disclosed that while she has both sexual organs, she identifies as a man, largely due to her discomfort with men’s intentions toward her.

“I date women now because I do not feel anything for men, but my feeling is always high with women,” she said.

Although Queen has not carried a pregnancy herself, she revealed that she has fathered two children with women. “I am not a lesbian, but I identify as a man because I have children; I impregnate women. My two kids call me daddy and mummy interchangeably,” Queen explained.

Queen further shared her feelings about her gender identity, noting that she feels more comfortable and happy identifying as a man. “I don’t feel bad about identifying as a man because that is what makes me happy. I feel happier with women than I am with men,” she said.

In addition to discussing her identity, Queen also spoke about the emotional and psychological struggles she endured, particularly before finding a supportive community online. She recounted how social media has played a crucial role in helping her come to terms with her condition and overcome suicidal thoughts and feelings of shame.

“Ever since I joined social media, I feel excited. I do not feel bad anymore because I have been advised to face the reality,” Queen shared. “But when I was not on social media, I felt bad and I was also suicidal because I thought I was a different human.”
