“It’s so not cool to record someone without their permission.”

Nicki Minaj may not have a very good relationship with Taylor Swift, but, when it comes to the epic Kimye feud, she is totally on Taylor’s side.

HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details on why Nicki thinks what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did was NOT. RIGHT.

“Nicki Minaj knows Taylor Swift very well after she had to put Taylor in her place when they were cat-fighting on Twitter,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But, in this incident with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Nicki’s got Taylor’s back. Thing is, it’s so not cool to record someone without their permission. That was a sucker move on Kim and Kanye’s part.” Well Nicki is a head strong woman so we shouldn’t be too surprised.

“What happens in the studio, stays in the studio,” our insider said. “Nicki would have handled that situation completely differently. She would have had Taylor sign some sort of contract to use her name and image in a song or video instead of putting her on blast like
that. Yeah, Kim and Kanye both lost cool points in Nicki’s book.”

But, Nicki, 33, isn’t the first celeb to join a team in this feud. Celebs from Fergie to Selena Gomez, to Demi Lovato, to Drake, have already started to take sides in the throw down between Taylor Swift, 26, and the Kardashian- Wests. The feud started on July 17, when Kim, 35, used Snapchat to release a VERY incriminating video showing Kanye, 39, and Tay Tay talking on speakerphone about the lyrics to his controversial new song, “Famous.”

Taylor is heard expressing her appreciation to
Kanye for him reaching out to here before including the line in the song. “Go with whatever line you think is better, it’s obviously very tongue and cheek either way. I never would’ve expected you to tell me about the line.” WELL, THEN.

Though Taylor lied, saying she did not knowing about the line once the song was released, we can see how Nicki would still think recording her was wrong — even if what Kim revealed was the truth. But, the jury is still out on who is in the right in this messy conflict. All we can do now is sit back and watch, as more shots are fired. Let’s hope things settle down.
