Newly Promoted Officers Decorated at Katsina State Correctional Service Command

The Controller of Correctional Service in Katsina State, MA Haruna, recently presided over a decoration ceremony held at the Medium Security Custodial Center in Katsina.

Represented by Deputy Controller of Corrections Ahasu Aliyu, the event honored the newly promoted officers of the command.

The ceremony, which encompassed promotions across various ranks and files, witnessed the presence of sister security agencies, as well as family and friends of the service within the state.

This celebration served as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the officers in upholding law and order in the region.

During the ceremony, Deputy Controller of Corrections Ahasu Aliyu delivered a powerful speech, urging the newly promoted officers to recognize the heightened responsibilities that accompany their elevated ranks.

He emphasized the need for greater commitment and diligence in carrying out their duties effectively. The deputy controller’s words resonated with the officers, who acknowledged the challenges they would face and vowed to uphold the values of the service.

In his address, DCC Ahasu expressed his gratitude to the Controller-General of Corrections, Halliru Nababa, for spearheading this exceptional promotion exercise.
