Written by Dami Elebe, Netflix’s first Nigerian young adult show, ‘Far From Home’, follows the story of a talented and charismatic teenager from a poor family who is given the opportunity of a lifetime when he is awarded a prestigious scholarship to the most exclusive school in the country.
As he is thrown into the world of Nigeria’s elite, the young man is faced with the challenges and dynamics of wealth and social hierarchy. But he soon discovers a huge secret that threatens his newfound status and the safety of his family.
The series, produced by Inkblot, features an impressive cast of up-and-coming and established actors including Mike Afolarin, Funke Akindele, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Bolanle Ninalowo, Genoveva Umeh, Bimbo Akintola, Linda Ejiofor, Chioma Akpotha, Femi Branch, Carol King, and Ufuoma Mcdermott.
