Nestlé Nigeria, a prominent player in the food and beverage industry, has garnered recognition for its outstanding performance across various business metrics at the Employers Excellence Awards organized by the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) in Lagos.

At the prestigious ceremony, Nestlé Nigeria secured the following awards:

  1. Best Employer in Food and Beverage
  2. Investment in Sustainability and Green Initiatives
  3. Exemplary Investment in Diversity and Inclusion
  4. Recognition of Efforts towards the elimination of Child Labor in the Workplace

The Employers Excellence Awards, an annual event, serves as a platform to highlight organizations that prioritize their workforce, implement policies fostering enterprise competitiveness, enhance productivity, and promote industrial peace and harmony.

The theme for this year’s awards ceremony, “Against all Odds,” resonates with the current challenges faced by businesses in the country.

Additionally, Nestlé Nigeria was recognized as the Organization with the highest number of Job Placements of Technical Trainees by the NECA-ITF Technical Skill Development Project and named the Best Contributing Employer in Training activities for 2022 within the Isolo Area Jurisdiction in Lagos State by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

The Managing Director/CEO of Nestlé Nigeria reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuous excellence, stating, “At Nestlé, we remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of corporate excellence and take steps every day to promote the wellbeing of our people while playing our part to support thriving communities and protect our planet for the next generation. We are very happy to receive these keenly contested awards and will remain focused on maintaining our positive impact in the Nigerian business environment, against all odds.”
