A serious accident unfolded on Monday near Karu bridge on the Abuja-Keffi Expressway, involving a trailer and a sachet water-laden vehicle.

This marks the third major crash on this stretch within two months, heightening fears about road safety on this busy corridor.

The number of casualties is still unclear as emergency teams respond to the scene.

The Federal Road Safety Corps and other emergency services were quick to arrive, working to rescue victims and clear the wreckage. The crash has caused significant traffic disruption and has reignited calls for improved safety measures along the expressway.
