Minnie Dlamini Announced As Co-Host For Nickfest 2017

TV sensation and actress Minnie Dlamini is going to co-host one of Nickelodeon’s biggest Festivals, Nickfest 2017, at TicketPro Dome in Johannesburg.

The star-studded event will take place from Saturday, 25 until Sunday, 26 March 2017.

26-year-old Minnie Dlamini will be hosting alongside co-hosts and Mzansi’s three favourite comedians including, Nicholas, Jason and Donovan Goliath, aka Goliath & Goliath.

Minnie’s PR confirmed the news in a tweet;

Minnie and her co-hosts will entertain thousands of kids and families at the TicketPro Dome from the 25 -26 March.

The bubbly TV personality seems overly excited about the opportunity and had this to say;

“I’m a huge nick fan. I grew up on their shows and since my nephew was born I got a new excuse to watch again. I’m a huge kid and being a part of Nickfest allows me to do what I love and show how much of a goofy kid I am. I can’t wait!”

To make Nickfest 2017 an event to remember, Nickelodeon has promised a fun packed weekend for this year’s festival. Kids and their families will experience excitement like never before.

During the event which will last for two days, there will be live performances, interactive zones, kid-friendly activities, and themed areas where Nickelodeon characters and programmes will be brought to life.

Also, attendees will get to meet Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and puppies, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol as they will make special appearances during the festival joined by Kinderjoy’s mascot, Kinderino.

Shekhinah and Nasty C are some of the performers that will grace the stage.

Mzansi’s ‘It’ girl Minnie Dlamini is blazing a trail through the entertainment industry. She has gone from presenting on SABC 1’s Live to acting on Rockville. Her latest milestone is landing a presenting role on Super Sport.
