Lionel Messi has signed a new contract with Barcelona that could keep him at Camp Nou until 2021.
The contract contains a buyout clause worth a staggering £626million.
The 30-year-old Argentina international’s deal now lasts until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Since joining the club at 13, Messi has helped Barcelona to eight Spanish league titles and won the Champions League four times.
Messi won the European Golden Shoe for the fourth time by scoring 37 goals in the Spanish league last season.
