Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has called on Seyi Tinubu, son of former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu, to intervene on behalf of Nigerians and urge his father to take urgent actions to alleviate the excruciating economic hardship facing the nation.

Aigbe’s plea came in response to Seyi Tinubu’s recent admonition to Nigerians to exercise patience amid the prevailing economic challenges and trust in the administration’s reforms for future prosperity.

Expressing her concerns on her Instagram page, Aigbe lamented the dire situation in the country, describing it as “terrible” and highlighting the severe consequences of the economic hardship on citizens.

“People are hungry! People are dying! People are going out of their minds! The present situation of the country is terrible! The government should, please, please, we are begging, they should do something about this economic hardship! It’s unbearable,” she wrote.

Directing her appeal to Seyi Tinubu, Aigbe urged him to intercede with his father, Bola Tinubu, a prominent political figure, on behalf of Nigerians.

She implored Tinubu to use his influence to spur urgent government action to address the pressing economic challenges faced by the populace.

“It’s unbearable, @officialasiwajubat. @seyitinubu, please beg your father for us. O to ge!” she added.
